I have seen sweet potato bread slices, usually next to banana bread slices, sitting on the casher counter at Bean Rush Cafe. I was wondering if it would be good or too sweet or too oily. Finally it was time to find out. I bought a slice of sweet potato bread along with a
cherry almond croissant. In short, it was fine. Sweet, but not too sweet. Very moist. Lightly spiced. Sweet potatoes? I didn't know where they were hiding, but overall I liked it. Sweet cream cheese frost was a nice touch.
