Breakfast @ Hoxton North

Finally we visited Hoxton North! It was the mid-August. It took more than a year for us to see/taste the best breakfast (we heard so) in the town. Because the place is very popular and always crowded, we got there about 10 minutes before their opening time to make sure we would get a table.

It was worth the effort. My Veggie Hoxton - sliced avocado, wilted spinach, field mushroom, cherry vine tomatoes, potato and onion hash, eggs and buttered sourdough - was simply tasty. J chose The Hoxton - peppercorn sausage, smoked bacon, black pudding, field mushroom cherry vine tomatoes, eggs and buttered sourdough. He liked it very much. He sometimes finishes black pudding, but did here. Sausages were pretty good, too.

We both started the full breakfast with a cup of cappuccino made with almond milk (or oat milk, I don't remember). The coffee was also nice - slightly sour and smooth. I don't know which beans they used for it but according to the cafe's website, they "offer a range of coffees that are continually changing according to the season," which come from "a hand-selected boutique of roasters dedicated to sourcing and roasting coffees from around the world." They must have carefully chose a particular type of roasted beans to make our cups delicious.

 Good morning!
