Christmas Fruit Cake

This was Christmas fruit cake from J's mother.

The recipe of the cake is her family recipe kept through generations. So, making this fruit cake seems to have been a Christmas tradition for the family.

The cake is buttery rich and moist, generously packed with dried/candied fruits and nuts. Each slice of the cake is like a stained glass window - beautiful and of course delicious! It lights up our holiday spirits.
