Homemade Irish Soda Bread

This was homemade Irish soda bread.

It was my first Irish soda bread, I think. Numerous recipes are available online. I choose one by Ina Garten because many people seem to like the result. I followed the recipe with a few changes: replacing buttermilk with low-fat yogurt and low-fat milk mixture because buttermilk was something never seen in our refrigerator, adding some toasted chopped walnut and sliced almonds because we simply like nuts, and reducing orange zest to 1/2 tea spoon because I didn't want to change my Irish soda bread into Italian Panettone with strong citrus flavor. After baking 45 min, inside was still wet; after another 10 min baking, the toothpick test showed it clean.
The result was brilliant! The crust was nicely crispy like cookies; the crumb was super moist and light. With honey or butter spread, we were happy with the wondrous bread.
