Cranshaw Melon

This was our first Cranshaw Melon.

When I was looking for golden honeydew at Wegmans, I found this big bright yellow ball with a cute pointy top. It apparently looked like a kind of melon, but I didn't know what it exactly was. So I bought one.
Inside was pretty greenish-orange. It was sweet but not sugary sweet. Mild flavor. Creamy and smooth texture. Very juicy! We liked it very much. According to Internet, Cranshaw is a hybrid of casaba melons and Persian melons. Here are my new questions: what do casaba melon and Persian melon look/taste like?
