Unzen-kinoko's Ume Soumen

This was Unzen-kinoko's Ume Soumen.

It was a quick supper for myself since J wasn't so hungry the evening after his fish & chips lunch in DC. The instant noodle pack was one of our favorite Japanese Unzen-kinoko Hompo's mushroom noodle packs. This Ume Soumen has a fine Umeboshi, Japanese salt-pickled Ume (Japanese apricot). It's a intensely sour bomb!

The Soumen noodle is pretty pink "Ume" color. Oh, I wished J could join this pinky noodle time! But I know he is not a big fan of Umeboshi. He would be happy to miss the opportunity.
