Peck 47 in Brussels, featuring Grand Place

Bonjour! We recently made a trip to Belgium to celebrate our birthdays and Valentine's day together. On Day 1, we woke up in Brussels and having a breakfast was our first adventure. We chose a cafe called Peck 47. It was a casual cafe. It seemed that their breakfast/brunch menu wasn't specifically Belgian. J had Eggs Hemingway and spinach, celery and pear juice; I had avocado toast. The food was good.

There were a long waiting line when we left the cafe. Somehow the cafe was so popular! The place was nice but I didn't see anything special. I would like to know what draws people here.

The cafe was close to the Grand Place, the central square of the City of Brussels with architecture from eras of Baroque, Gothic and Louis XIV, including the guild houses, the City Hall and the Maison du Roi. Early morning when there were less tourists there was a good time to look at the details of the gorgeous buildings.
