Toshikoshi Soba on New Year's Eve


Fortunately I had a chance to make and eat Toshikoshi Soba this time! It's just a soba (buckwheat noodles) in simple Japanese "Dashi" soup. However, it's a Japanese old tradition to eat the dish on New Year's Eve, wishing longevity - as long and strong as Soba. I love the custom and will try to make it on New Year's Eve of this year!
