Brown Box Eatery's Donuts

These were donuts from Brown Box Eatery, a newly opened local breakfast/lunch cafe.

Donuts are apparently the cafe's signature. We tried strawberry shortcake, lemon drop, coconut chocolate, French toast and apple something (cinnamon? caramel? I forgot). The donuts seemed to have been fried when the order was placed. According to the place, each donut was hand-glazed. They have only a kind of dough, but you can choose glaze and toppings by yourself to make your own combination.
The dough's texture was like an old-fashioned donut. It wasn't yeasty, but plain in a good way, just like homemade. I liked all glaze and toppings too. They weren't too sweet. We also tried their breakfast sandwich too: eggs, cheese and bacon on sourdough sandwich bread. It was also simple and good.
I think overall the donuts and sandwich were good, not fancy but basic. This is a compliment.
