American Spoon's Maple Cream
It was also one of MANY American Spoon's conserve/compote that J gave me recently, and also one we have't had before. It looked like caramel sauce, had honey-like consistency but tasted just like maple syrup because it was nothing but pure maple syrup!
I had the maple cream on toasted poppy seed bagels, which was very good, but I could imagine the cream drizzled over warm fluffy stacked sourdough pancake.
