Pan-Seared Tuna Steak & Corn

This was pan-seared tuna steak and corn.

The menu was inspired by J's parents. They told us they had tuna steak and corn for their wedding anniversary dinner. It sounded lovely and we created our version of tuna and corn for dinner. I made a  simple Japanese-ish sauce for tuna with soy sauce, Mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine) and fresh chive. we haven't cooked tuna steak for a long time and according to J's suggestion, I cooked tuna. The tuna was cooked perfect! With the sauce, it was delicious! In fact J's parents also had pecan pie, but we couldn't prepare the dessert. I wished we did! Well, corn was nicely sweet like a dessert and I was very satisfied.
