Blackberry Yogurt Cake

This was blackberry yogurt cake.

We bought fresh blackberries at a local farmer stand. After I snacked some as fresh, I thought it would be lovely to make a cake with the rest. The blackberries would be the star, so the cake should be simple.
I remembered buttermilk/Greek yogurt cakes that I made with raspberries, blueberries and blackberries last year. They were very simple and tasty. This time, I used the mixture of whole milk yogurt and low-fat yogurt.
Ta-da!
The cake was delightful. We enjoyed a slice with a cup of tea. I could have served the cake with whipped cream as usual, but had it plain to appreciate the simplicity. The cake was wonderful for breakfast, too.
