Pierogi with Sauerkraut & Mushrooms

This was Pierogi with sauerkraut and mushrooms from Kielbasa Factory, a Polish deli in Rockville, MD.

The pierogi was made by Kielbasa Factory, sold frozen at the store. I boiled first and them sautéed them with olive oil and butter. Garnished with some chopped fresh parsley and chive. We enjoyed the simply way before, but this time honestly I felt having a kind of sauce for a little more flavor would have been better. Perhaps, the sauerkraut filling was somewhat overwhelming.
