Christmas Pudding Black Tea from Mariage Frères

This was Christmas Pudding Black Tea from Mariage Frères.

While we still love Mariage Frères' Christmas Orange black tea, we wanted to try something new. When we were browsing their tea list online, Christmas Pudding caught J's eye. We added it in our order along with another Christmas Orange for this holiday season. How can Christmas Pudding turn into tea? Mariage Frères says, "In the mug are notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, brown sugar, raisins, orange peel, candied cherries, crushed almonds, apple and vanilla." The tea leaves looked as attractive as the definition.
The tea tasted very pleasant. It was quite cinnamon-y, which was different from Christmas Orange or any other teas we had before. Warm-spiced and festive. It was a wonderful addition to our tea collection, especially for holiday season.
