Ujikomochi
This was Ujikomochi.
Waiting 3 hours for my 13-hour-flight to US at Narita Tokyo airport was not pleasant at all. To make myself feel a little better, I bought these Japanese sweets as an additional souvenir even though I had already bought several sweets during my stay in Japan. Ujikomochi is amazingly soft Mochi (fresh rice cake) ball covered Matcha, Japanese green tea powder. Walnut is hidden in the rice cake.
Each ball was tiny. I could easily eat more than one, well, in honest, the whole box (10 balls), at a time.
