Stollen 2017 from Dresden Stollen Bakers

This was stollen from Dresden Stollen Bakers for Christmas 2017!

It was the third year of enjoying the baker's delicious German holiday bread during the holiday season. This year we bought a two pound loaf, which seems like a right size for two of us.

The thick sugar coat was falling apart while I was slicing the bread. Oh well, we won't eat the sugar layer much anyway.

The stollen was wonderful as we remember. Perhaps this bread had more raisins than one last year. Stollen has officially become our Christmas staple.
