Japanese-style Curry & Rice

This was Japanese-style curry and rice.

I used one of two packages of commercial curry roux blocks that I bought in Japan last fall. I added a lot of white and brown mushrooms along with common Japanese curry ingredients like onion, carrots and potatoes. This curry was full of Veggies. No Meat! Served with white steamed sushi-quality rice, the curry dish took me back to old days in Japan. A taste is a deep memory.
