Giolitti's Roasted Mushroom Ravioli with Homemade Creamy Sauce

This was Giolitti's roasted mushroom ravioli with homemade creamy sauce.

We dropped by Giolitti Delicatessen, an Italian deli in Annapolis and bought a couple of frozen packs of ravioli and pancetta. One of the ravioli was roasted mushroom. According to J's request, I made up a creamy sauce with butter, shallot, flour, vermouth, chicken broth, fresh sage, bay leaf, a little bit of cream and fresh lemon juice. Black and white peppers and a pinch of sea salt to taste. Chopped fresh parsley for garnish. The mushroom ravioli was great. Each one was generously filled and tasted lovely. Luckily my quick made-up sauce beautifully went well with the ravioli. Honestly the store-bough frozen pasta dinner was way beyond expectation!
