Beef & Bean Chili

I have made chili many times but never made beef chili before. Well, it wasn't a real beef chili after all. Many recipes of beef chili call for about 3 pounds ground beef; my version had only half a pound. Most of my chili was made of two kinds of beans (kidney and pinto), crushed tomatoes, jumbo red bell pepper, extra onion, ground walnut, ground Shiitake mushroom, some garlic cloves, and several spices and herbs. Still, the little bit of beef gave chili beefy flavor and meaty texture enough to make J happy. Therefore, I called it beef and bean chili.
