Mykonos Bar & Grill

It was a day in the mid-September. Greek sounded good for dinner. I looked for a well-rated restaurant on tripadvisor. Mykonos Bar & Grill was one of recommended places. We ordered two kinds of starters to share. One was Dolmades -vine leaves stuffed with minced lamb, rice and a hint of mint. They were served warm. They were good. The other was Tyropitakia - Filo pastries with a filling of feta cheese, spinach and mint. They were ok, too.

My main was Arni Souvlaki - skewers of Lamb kebab marinated in olive oil, Greek yoghurt, lime juice and oregano – chargrilled served with Mykonos rice. It was nice.
J's dish was, I think, a classic Greek dish, Beef Stifado - prime diced beef cooked in red wine with onions, cinnamon and cloves served with Mykonos rice. He seemed to enjoyed it.
Around 5pm, there was no other customers. I guess 5pm is too early for people here to have dinner. We enjoyed our private dining room!
Overall, their food was not special but just good. Nostos in Northern Virginia was much better, though. We will try other Mediterranean restaurants in Harrogate to see if any of them can beat Nostos.
