Japan 2019 - Sweet Potato Mushi-Pan


On my last day in Japan, I packed a couple of Japanese steamed buns, Mushi-Pan in my handbag for the long flight back to England. I ate only one, which was Yomogi (Japanese Mugwort plant) flavored, when I arrived at Amsterdam, and the other, which was made with sweet potato, got back home with me. I enjoyed it as breakfast next day. The Mushi-Pan was as amazingly delicious as what it looked like. I have made Mushi-Pan some times in the US. If a Japanese sweet potato is available in England, which isn't in the US, I would love to make something like this by myself, taking a little break from Betty's cakes. We'll see...
