Baked Goods from Partisan in York
We stopped by at Partisan after lunch at The Rattle Owl. I saw some handsome bread being displayed on their window. I couldn't help but check the details of their baking goods. Partisan wasn't a bakery but a cafe/restaurant while they had a nice variety of cakes/scones/breads that I found around the entrance area. We picked a blue berry scone, a cheese and chive scone, a cinnamon roll, and a elderflower-flavored donut for the next day's breakfast.
My blueberry scone was fine although J didn't like his cheese and chive scone, saying it was undercooked. The donut was ok. A bit too sweet for me. The cinnamon roll was the best among them. Will I come back to the place, again? Probably yes. Maybe we will have a table there for brunch and I will try their french toast that looked very nice in a photo. I hope J will like this idea.
