Yorkshire Coast - Robin Hood's Bay 1

Our next stop on Yorkshire coast was Robin Hood's Bay. We stayed there two nights. Robin Hood's Bay was a little old fishing village. With much less commercial and tourist activities than Whitby, the beach seemed to be the village's biggest attraction. In the mid April, the air was still chilly. The cute village was quiet and relaxing. The bay was so beautiful. I quickly fell in love with Robin Hood's Bay!

We took a lovely walk before breakfast. The weather was more than perfect. J and I were surrounded with a blue sky, calm waves, green lands, and adorable sheep families calling "baa" and "maa". It was an amazingly blessing moment. I wished I could stop the time at that moment.

Back to the hotel for breakfast, starting with coffee/tea, orange juice and mixed toasted bread with butter, raspberry jam, marmalade, and honey.

The menu was a list of traditional breakfast items, including full English breakfast, porridge and egg benedict. J had egg benedict and I had smoked kipper. His dish contained just one egg benedict. Although the portion was modest, it was well-made, especially the ham was very good according to him. My fish was huge, meaty and tasty. It came with more bread with butter. English people, probably North Yorkshires must love bread and butter. It was a lovely breakfast indeed.
