Homemade Apple Crisp


I bought a pack of four Granny Smith apples and used only one for cabbage and apple slaw with honey-lime dressing. I wished I could buy apples individually although it wasn't too hard to think what to do with the three apples left. They became my first homemade apple crisp in England! I added some raisins, some sprinkles of Vietnamese cinnamon and some splashes of sherry - basically whatever I saw in the pantry.




There was store-bought pistachio ice cream leftover in the freezer that I bought for pineapple upside-down cake. From apple to ice cream, there was nothing left at the end.
