Sin Fronteras Cafe

This was our first visit to Sin Fronteras Cafe, a Mexican Restaurant in Annapolis. They serve not only Mexican cuisine but also several dishes from other central/south American countries. For example, this was  Peruvian lomo saltado - a slice of tender meat cooked with olive oil, soy sauce, and white wine aji, peppers, tomato, onions, side of rice, served over fried Yucca. According to their menu, this dish was supposed to be served over fried potato, but our waiter suggested Yucca instead. We appreciated the alternative.

This was Guacamole. We asked them to make it mild so that I could handle the heat. J enjoyed the Guacamole but said he wouldn't mind of extra lemon or lime juice.

These were Baleadas - a Honduran specialty of homemade tortillas, stuffed with refried beans, fresh grated cheese, avocado, and imported cream (mantequilla). They can be made with carne asada (steak) or chorizo con hoevo, but we kept them simple without meat.

Although we shared entree with each other and didn't order desserts, we left the restaurant with a happy full tummy. It's always good to know a new restaurant that we would like to come back again.
