Broiled Steak with Sauteed Kale

This was broiled steak and sauteed kale.

Instead of J's grilling steak outside, I tried broiling steak in the oven. Using our new Penzeys' smokey Mitchell Street steak seasoning, I broiled steak by following a method that I found on Food.com, which has received 5 stars based on 37 reviews. Surprisingly it was quite easy and quick without mess. To meet our own requirement to eat veggie daily, I sauteed a bunch of kale with red wine vinegar, black pepper, dried garlic and dried onion during the time to let the steaks rest. Still the steak was huge, we will have meat-free days for a while.
