Mana'eesh bi Za'atar

These were Mana'eesh bi Za'atar, flat bread with Za'atar.

Since my Jerusalem cooking book introduced me Za'atar, I am a big fan of the Jerusalem flavor. I found this recipe on a lovely blog called wandering spice. The bread itself was super plain and simple, but with Za'atar, each bite had a lot of flavor.
Mana'eesh bi Za'atar is apparently a popular breakfast in Lebanon. I like the idea. These bread must be healthier than sweet muffins or bagels with egg and bacon.
