Rum Raisin Coconut Shortbread

These were Rum Raisin Coconut Shortbread.

I made them as a small gift to our friends. I followed a recipe from a book called Martha Stewart's Cookies although I made a few changes such as adding minced Italian orange peel for orange zest since I didn't have any fresh orange, mixing extra rum in the dough, and so on.
As classic shortbread, the cookies were egg free. Buttery and crispy with coconut, and of course, rummy. I hope our friends enjoy some over a cup of tea or coffee.
