Tofu Streak with Mushroom Sauce

This was Tofu steak with mushroom sauce.

It was a similar to my Tofu version of Zürcher Geschnetzeltes. Unlike Zürcher Geschnetzeltes' mushroom sauce, this sauce didn't have heavy cream and lemon zest and juice, but a hint of tomato paste and balsamic vinegar. For a side dish, I made Dijon-braised brussels sprouts by adapting smitten kitchen's recipe as usual. So far it's the best recipe of brussels sprouts for us. This meal was less carb and meat-free. I thought it would be light and good for a late dinner. Actually it wasn't. It was plenty and rich. Unfortunately it overwhelmed J's tummy. Sorry!
