Namasute, again

We had Indian curry buffet lunch at Namasute, again!

This was J's plate. My favorite dish of the day was mushroom curry - chunky mushrooms in a rich spicy sauce. Very tasty! The flavored rice of the day was vegetable biryani. I liked it too. There was no fish curry. Instead, two kinds of chicken curries. Also one of dishes was Chinese stir-fried vegetable with chili sauce. A little disappointed... They should stick to authentic Indian dishes and keep the variety of the choices. There was a dessert that we liked last time but I didn't remember the name. This time I checked the name carefully, it was Sooji Halwa. According to some websites, semolina is the key ingredient; milk or water is in, and cardamon powder is also added for flavors. Based on these, other ingredients can be added here and there. Each family seems to have its own recipe. Saffron or orange synthetic color is often used in South India. So this Sooji Halwa was a southern version, I supposed.
Services were great as usual. So was food even though the variety of the dishes was a little less interesting than last two times. We will come back soon.
