American Spoon's Valiant Grape Jelly

This was American Spoon's valiant grape jelly on homemade sourdough French bread.

It was one of many American Spoon's jams/conserves that J bought for me this summer, and a new flavor for us to try. The jelly was bright and tasty!
The label said "a childhood classic." As a Japanese, I don't associate grape jelly or P&J sandwich with my childhood. On the other hand, grapes are special fruit for me because my grandparents used to grow grapes and send us a plenty of fresh grapes every early fall when I was a child.
Talking about P&J, after more than ten years in the US, finally I accept the taste of P&J sandwich. It's only when it is made with low-sodium peanut butter and high-quality jelly like this, though.
