Smoked Salmon on Toasted Bagels

We had one of our favorite breakfast, smoked salmon on toasted bagels to celebrate this holiday season!

The smoked salmon that we bought at Wegmans couldn't beat those we had in NY but wasn't too bad.

I am still interested in making our own smoked salmon with J's smoker. I have bought Alder chips particularly for that purpose the last summer. Unfortunately it has already been winter, too cold to smoke salmon outside, I guess. Smoking salmon will be a fun project in Spring 2015.
