Broccoli-Cheddar Soup

This was broccoli-cheddar soup.

For a light but full dinner, the soup came with salad and homemade rye bread with cottage cheese and dill. I made up the soup with onion, broccoli, vegetarian broth, and shredded cheddar and parmesan cheeses. The soup was smooth, comfy, cheesy. I was almost secretly blending fresh baby kale leaves into the soup, which could give the soup beautiful green color, but instead, I made fresh kale salad. I think I did a better choice.
