Stir-fired Pan-fried Tofu & Vegetables

This was stir-fired pan-fried Tofu and vegetables.

It looked like another veggie stir-fired dish, but the sauce was new. J requested garlicky brown sauce. I went to Cook's Illustrated website and searched a stir-fired veggie with brown sauce recipe. A recipe of stir-fired beef with snap peas and red peppers looked close to what I was looking for in terms of the sauce. It was based on oyster sauce with soy sauce and dry sherry. I recently bought a new oyster sauce from online Asian grocery store. And I just bought a new bottle of dry sherry. It was as if I was meant to make the brown sauce!
Of course I added garlic and fresh ginger too. The dish was sweet savory and garlicky. Just like J wanted. Right?
