Tapas Brunch - Small Scallops & Octopus in Galician Sauce

This was a tapas brunch.

It included canned small scallops and octopus from Spain, Délice de Bourgogne that was a French cow's milk cheese from the Burgundy region of France, German style baguette, and a glass of Cava from Spain. This was our first tasting of the canned scallops and octopus, and we were very glad we had the opportunity. They tasted pretty good! Both were in Galician sauce although one for scallops were more "tomatoey" than one for octopus. Actually I liked the difference so that one clearly differentiates itself from the other.
We also liked the French cheese very much that J picked at a Whole Foods. It was rich buttery Camembert-like mushroomy. Cava was nice, too. This tapas brunch was very enjoyable, and after then, J quickly placed a new order for more Spanish canned seafoods, including octopus in olive oil. I guess we will have another lovely tapas brunch very soon!
