Turrón de Alicante by 1880

This was Turrón de Alicante by 1880.

It's a Spanish traditional almond nougat candy made with whole roasted Marcona almonds and orange blossom honey from from Valencia and Alicante. 1880 is "one of the world's oldest companies, family owned since the 1700's," according to La Tienda, our new favorite Spanish food online store that J bought this brittle bar from.
The candy was amazingly crunchy! Almost all of the candy was pure almonds. I loved the simplicity and enjoyed each bite!
