Ploughman's Lunch

We tried to create a ploughman's lunch at home! I hadn't heard of a ploughman's lunch until J told me that we were going to have it for lunch when he picked two kinds of relishes at a local grocery store.
"A ploughman's lunch is an English cold meal which is based on bread, cheese, and onions, and usually accompanied by butter and some form of pickle. Additional items such as ham, green salad, hard boiled eggs and apple can be added," according to wiki. For cheese, we went to The Cheeseboard, an excellent cheese chop in Harrogate.
We picked up two kinds of cheese. One was Baron Bigod, "a creamy, white bloomy-rind cheese handmade on the farm by Jonny Crickmore and team in Fen Farm, Suffolk." The other was Ossau-Iraty, a Franco-Basque cheese made from sheep milk. We also got Prosciutto, baguette, cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Our first ploughman's lunch was enjoyable. It was like a picnic at home. The cheeses were nice. Relishes were tasty. The prosciutto was pretty good, too. The lunch was substantial. In fact, we skipped a dinner on the day.
