Veggie Chili & Baking Goods from Wegmans

This was Veggie Chili and Cheesy Bread.

Based on my Veggie Chili recipe, I replaced 1 can pinto beans with 1 pack of soy protein crumbles, and added two cup water instead of 1 and 1/2 cup. The mock ground meat that I found at a local grocery store was pretty good to add the chili a great meaty texture. It had a neutral flavor and wasn't salty. Of course, a great protein source!

A couple of lightly toasted cheese bread from a newly opened Wegmans store was a great companion of the veggie chili bowl. The bread, J's pick, was nicely cheesy and fluffy. 

After dinner, we enjoyed some Wegmans cookies. I liked the green Lady's Kiss cookies, which were very tender. Welcome, Wegmans!
