Baked Pumpkin Spice Doughnuts with Chocolate Glaze & Toasted Coconuts & Peanuts

These were baked pumpkin spice doughnuts with chocolate glaze and toasted coconuts and peanuts.


We recreated our beloved baked doughnuts! Unlike the last time, the baking time was about nine minutes as the box suggested. The doughnuts were nicely puffed up. I might have used a baking sheet under the doughnuts pan last time, which I didn't this time. Direct heat to the doughnuts pan could be a key to bake quickly and beautifully. Adding toasted coconuts and peanuts was J's idea. What a great idea!
The doughnuts were light, moist, and flavorful, homemade semi-sweet chocolate glaze was very chocolatey without too sweet, and coconuts and peanuts toppings were nicely crunchy and nutty. All together. What a dream breakfast. We were so spoiled!
